Allu Arjun starrer Arya-2, a sequel of Arya is on the sets. The muhurtham shot has recently taken place in Ramanaidu studios. The film has Kajal in the female lead and also includes Navadeep. The film is produced by B.V.S.N.Prasad and Aditya babu. The film is directed by Sukumar who has directed Arya himself.

Mahesh babu’s fans heard a good news from the media about the new movies accepted by himself. He has accepted three movies according to the media sources. Those movies are ready to schedule on the sets. Deepika padukone is going to make tollywood debut in one of those movies according to tollywood sources.

Gopichand’s new movie Showryam audio is set to release. The movie has Anushka in the female lead. The movie is directed by Siva who was a cinematographer in tollywood. The film is produced by Anand prasad and the music is given by Mani sharma.

Colors Swathi is acting as a solo heroine for the first time in Astachemma. Nani is in the male lead. The film is produced by Ram mohan and directed by Indraganti mohankrishna. The music is composed by Kalyani malik. Swathi has previously acted in two movies named Aduvari matalaku arthale verule opposite to Venkatesh and Danger, which is directed by Krishna vamsi.

Rajeev kanakala and Rishi are acting in another movie named “Three” after a huge success of their previous movie named “A film by Aravind”. The movie is being directed by Sekhar suri who has directed their first movie and it is also a suspense thriller like the previous one. The film has Santhi chandra and Urvasi sharma in the female lead.

Rajeev Kanakala’s new movie Black and White is set to release by next month. Sindhu Tolani is in the female lead. The film is produced by Uday Shankar and directed by Srikanth Vemulapalli. Jackie Shroff is acting in a special role in this film.

Srikanth’s new movie titled Kausalya Supraja Rama has completed half of the shooting. The film has Charmi in the female lead. The film is produced by D.Rama naidu, who is well known as movie moghal in tollywood under Suresh productions banner and is directed by Surya prasad. Koti is the music director.

Allari Naresh starrer comedy film Sidhu from seekakulam has completed its shooting and is set to release on Aug 14th. The film has Manjari and Shradha das in the female lead. This is his 26th film and is directed by Eshwar who was an assistant director to Naresh father E.V.V.Satyanarayana a well known director in tollywood. The film is produced by Malla Vijay prasad.

Akkineni Nagarjuna and Nandamuri Balakrishna are going to star in a movie called “NaraNarayanulu” which is the story of gods avtaras like Lord Rama and lakshmana, Lord Krishna and Balaram. The movie shooting is yet to start in the coming days and is directed by legend director Raghavendra Rao who has done Annamayya and Sriramadasu with Nagarjuna and Pandurangadu with Balakrishna. The music is lead by M.M.Keeravani who was the music director for the above movies. The main cast is yet to announce.

Actress Shriya Saran’s Mission Istanbul has bombed at the box office, but she is happy with the way her career is shaping up.

From music videos to Tollywood to the Hindi film industry and now Hollywood, she has been climbing the ladder of success.

Back in the city for the shooting of a Tamil film Kandaswami, Shriya says, “Hyderabad is like home to me and it feels great to be here. I was at the Poison launch party and met up with all my old friends after such a long time.”

Disappointed with the failure of Mission Istanbul?

“When a film doesn’t do well, it is natural that you will feel bad. But the important thing is I have given it my 100 per cent and have worked very hard for the film,” she says.

When asked what she felt went wrong with the film, she replied, “It’s not right for me to comment on this. A film is a by-product of the energies and efforts of a lot of people. On hindsight, you can point out many mistakes, but you can never be sure about the fate of a movie from before it releases.”

Talking about her recent Tamil film, Shriya says that though it is a commercial movie, it has a poignant social message. “The film is about the economic disparity in the country — how the rich are getting richer while the poor are becoming poorer. Sushi Ganeshan is the director while Vikram is my co-actor. I had a good time doing the film. It’s a commercial film but at the same time deals with a topic that is so true of India.”
